Nicolas's teaching and research interests lie at the intersection of American Political Development and global political economy. Nicolas has published articles in Economics & Politics and New Political Economy. His book, Imagining the Fed: The Struggle for the Heart of the Federal Reserve, 1913-1970, is published by SUNY Press.
